Author, Jean Manthei, MA, LPC, CAS has practiced AOD counseling since 1993. She has her master’s in Counseling and Human Services from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 1993. Photography and Schizophrenia originated from the author’s struggles with schizophrenia and her use of photography as a coping skill and part of her creativity. This book asks some good questions and makes the reader think on a new level about schizophrenia. The author says sometimes diagnosis shouldn’t matter if you have an eye for composition and are creative. She does draw some interesting interpretations in relating photography and schizophrenia.
